Since Gecko Rock only has four casitas, you can rest assured that the pool is always tranquil and never crowded.
You’ll find a variety of seating options around the pool including sun loungers, Adirondacks and a hammock.

Spend your morning relaxing on the comfy sofas while savoring a cup of freshly roasted Oaxacan coffee or kick back with an ice cold cerveza or fruity cocktail from the bar to take a break from the sun.
At nighttime our palapa is the best venue around for enjoying a bottle of wine with a delicious dinner.
In the bar area you’ll find a selection of books and a collection of board games.

In just two minutes you can walk down the well kept pedestrian path leading from Gecko Rock to our serene, picture-perfect beach.
Exploring our beach you’ll find surf breaks, rock pools, bird-filled lagunas and what seems like an endless stretch of tranquility.
What you won’t find are other tourists.
The beaches around here are free of the heavy crowds and hawkers found along Mexico’s less isolated shorelines. Whether you are gathering sea shells, spotting the tiny tropical fish swimming around the rocks, or marveling at the majestic pelicans being on our beach refreshes and resuscitates your soul.

A short 15-minute walk down the beach will take you to Agua Blanca, a collection of basic thatch-roofed seafood restaurants. Here you can purchase ice cold beer or enjoy a seafood meal fresh from the ocean.
